Helping to meet the needs of persons with mental illness and their families in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties in Illinois

Meetings are held in Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

 

Educational Meeting

7:00 pm, Morron Room; the first Thursday of every month.

             A guest speaker talks on some aspect of mental illness or services available to those              with mental illnesses.

 

Support Group Meetings

7:00 pm, Morron Room, the third Thursday of every month.

             For family and friends of those who are ill. Trained volunteers provide opportunites to              share practical experience in locating services, reinforcing coping skills and exchanging              emotional support.

7:00 pm, Nurses' Education Room - directly above G303 - the third Thursday of every month.

             For primary consumers; led by a recovering primary consumer, using relevant videos or              speakers and whatever discussion interests the group.
